ODBC Connectivity to Progress

Looking for an easy way to connect to a progress DB using ODBC. I saw DataDirect offers an ODBC but is there any free driver we can use? Anyone knows anything here it would be appreciated.

I am running Windows XP and Windows 7 machines. 32 and 64 bit.

go to progress.com dowloads and download SQLClientAccess is free for deployement.

You didn't mention which version of Progress you are using... what you should install may be dependent on the OE version.

Also, as far as I've heard, until OE10.2B there are no 64-bit ODBC drivers. Someone with more hands-on knowledge might chime in here.

Also, up through version 9, the ODBC driver was a part of Client Networking or SQL Networking, products for which you needed to purchase a license. From OE10 on, it is a free download.
