Hi,
A Quickie here.
We have set a web server running Apache on Red Hat Linux.
There is now a requirement to display some simple data from our Progress Database on our Web Site. The project is not large enough to make a WebSpeed Implementation worthwhile so I have suggested PHP and ODBC.
I managed to get this working on a Windows NT/Apache Installation but am now wondering about ODBC drivers for Linux. We are running Red Hat 7.2.
Questions:
What ODBC drivers are available.
How much do they cost. Are there any free drivers.
Is there much setup required.
What is the speed like.
I could always run go with a Microsoft Web Server impkementation but am not in favour of doing so due to security issues etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Paul.
