Port for ODBC SQL-92 Service on Server?

I have a demo copy of the Merant/Data Direct drivers to connect to my Tru64 Unix dataserver and I've set up a machine DSN that let's me connect to the server.

The problem is is I'm getting an error that says something like "can't connect to data server. Possible cause is that there's no service listening on this port"

I haven't installed anything from Merant on the server side with the hopes that I will be able to use the SQL-92 stuff that starts with the DB broker automatically. I'm using the sequelink 4.51 driver

My questions is: what do I have to do to configure my server so that I can connect to it?

Serve the database on a port (-S) on Tru64 and use the Progress Merant drivers not the Seq. ones to connect if you are on V9 or greater. Go back about 7 days and you will find this exact discussion on this board.
