Question Migration to Excel and then to SQL Server

Can somebody point me to a direction in migrating from Progress to Excel and then to MSSQL?

I'm actually looking for suggestions and helpful experience.
Thanks,

Maybe you could get a bit more detailed about what you're trying to do?

On the face of it that sounds like a very strange sort of db migration. I would think that any database that can be migrated to Excel can probably be migrated by retyping it. So I'm fairly sure that I don't understand something about what you are asking.

Our company was to verify and select the data before importing it into MSSQL. It looks simple enough, but if you import a table directly into Excel from Progress, it doesn't include any links, just the table and data.

What are "links"? Do you mean table relations? Or do you mean hyperlinks of some kind?

if you have excel - do you have Access ? I know you can import records from Progress into Access. I have not tried with Excel.

I also don't know what you mean by Links.
