Diffrence bet gprun.i and run statement

Hello,

plz tell me diffrence between gprun.i and run statement.

Gprun.i is standard MFG/PRO include file whose main function is to parse the first two characters of program name, go to the program folder and execute it. e.g. apvomt.p it will go to ap folder under <language> folder and find it & execute it.

1. Does gprun.i always accept inputs from file???
2. If i want to run CIM program for .W file can i use gprun.i?
