Introduction to the OpenEdge Reference Architecture by John Sadd

http://www.psdn.com/library/entry.jspa?externalID=2200&categoryID=54

It's easy to follow, even to someone who's struggling with English like me.

It's elegant.

It's even entertaining at times.

It's beautiful ! I get it.

I know I may not have been John's biggest fan at times and I wasn't expecting this article to be any better but it's just that good.

Thank you John, I really enjoyed this one.

Hello wsong,

There were lots of times where I felt it was hard to see the big picture, so to speak, because there was too much detail. I was happy to see an overview for us dummies (like the book series, no harm intended) but with enough details so it wouldn't be too vague.

I think, you can find lots of code samples and detailed explanations about datasets and samples uses in the OERA in the ProDataSet doc, there were lots of articles and code samples on OERA written in the last year or so and of course theres ... AutoEdge.
