WO Changing to Alternate BOM

I have this WO A, it has component: Z (Z & Y is the same) Y with qty
So i decided to use Y to build A

The problem is when the WO is in Planned status or Firmed status
therefore, I am not able to change the Component Z to Y

What should i do with this>

If I understand correctly you want to: change a component in the work order bill of material.
If your workorder has status P or F it is planned and by definition the bill of material is not fixed. So the bom of the workorders is in fact the bom in 13.5 etcc.
The bom for a workorder is frozen as from status e(exploded) or above. In status E the workorder only has a fixed bom. You can now change the bom from wo A in menu 16.13.etc..
