Hey All!
We use SMTPmail for batch processing of emails, and it has worked really well. We have a split system in that the back end is UNIX, and that is where most the email are generated from. The front side is GUI, windows base.
About 1 month ago our exchange server when down for a long time and as a result about 1000 automatically generated emails got 'lost' because there was nothing to connect to. My question is has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you correct it?
My original thought was to store the parameters, and more the attachment if there was one into a progress table and wait for the service to become available again. But can anyone think of a better way.
Thanks,
-Dennis-
