The use of VST Tables

Hi;

How can i use the VST tables in GUI interfaces; I use to develop
an application that use _File table but i have to connect during the execution of a window and not before activating this window.
so when i compile it returns an error indicates that i he didn't find the _file table. please help how can i resolve this problem
