Record reads Protop vs record reads Promon

Hi all,
I have a question about the record reads in Protop (which is a very good database monitoring utility). But I have one problem with the program. The record reads that I see in Protop does not correspondent with the record reads I see in the Promon utility. For example the record reads that i see in Promon a much more (18000) then Protop (a total of 4399). I hope anyone can give me an answer.

ProTop usually shows the rate for a metric. Whereas PROMON generally shows the count -- either since db startup or for a given sample period. So PROMON might say that a 10 second sample had 18,000 reads while ProTop would say that you were reading 1,800 records per second -- if both are set to a 10 second sample interval and they sample at the same moment.

Synchronizing PROMON and ProTop sample periods can be difficult so direct comparisons are a challenge.

Also for the character version of ProTop two rates are shown -- the one to the left is the rate since ProTop started. The one to the right is the most recent sample.
