QAD CIM Cost Load

Hi All - hoping someone can help please...

I am looking to create a CIM load using the Excel templates & CIM Load tool, but am wanting to CIM load into screen 1.4.9 to update standard costs.

The challenge though is that to enter each cost element in QAD you have to mouse click within each element (Material, Labor, Burden etc) to get to the box where you enter the value.

Does anyone know how to do this please? Better still does anyone have a working template they could share?

Is there a catalogue of CIM load templates available anywhere?

Thanks

Mike

Hello Mike,

you are using the wrong program for loading cost in batch.
Use the attached Template.
It is different from the QAD, but it works

Thanks W2 - please could you clarify a couple of fields...

I understood that lower level costs could only be applied through cost roll ups... I assume that this just needs a "-" to accept what it has then needs a cost roll, and that then Total will also be "-"?

Do primary, cat_desc and ao need populating?

For the F4 columns what should be entered there please?

Many thanks

Mike

You only fill in yes or no for initialize the current values.
Most time I use No.

item and site are selfexplaining
csset means Standard, Current or a SIM costset name
element is your this level cost for item
F4 columns have to be filled with '.

I have added a new revised version, with less columns
