I am running a progress 8.3a database on a NT server. I have to reboot the server frequently because of promsgs and convmap.cp files are being created. There can be hundreds of these file open for the same user. I am running a 'Freedom' bar code system which uses openlink odbc. The owner of the promsgs and convmap.cp files is the "Freedom' user. I know this software is the problem, but I don't know how to resolve it.
