Hi I know 11.1+ r-code is all supposed to be compatible but I've found its not always the case. It seems that when the r-code is based around .net there is a failure. I have a procedure that defines a variable based on an openedge class and it comes back saying the classes don't match. I can assure you the code that is based on .net has not been compiled against the newer version of Progress..one was compiled with 11.5 and this "def var" with 11.6. I note that the r-code is compiled against exactly the same .net libraries. Not sure why, but should it do this? -Darren
