I agree Iram. We are currently evaluating a proposal for a 'Next Generation Page Designer'. It is a complete rewrite of our Page Designer to make it more flexible, contemporary, and ultimately you ( the developer ) more effortlessly expressive. So not only would you have the ability to specify target pages for these buttons and links , but also rename them, or change theirs labels/icons , or DnD and specify their position on the page, or even hide them.
