openedge installation in unix

While installing openedge in AIX, i face the below error.

"
Cannot load program ./unix/_ovrly because of the following errors:
0509-150 Dependent module libptools_ptr.a(shr_64.o) could not be loaded.
"


Can anybody give me a solution?

First of all this is a generic UNIX/Progress question which would receive more attention in a different forum. It has almost nothing to do with mfg/pro. I'd probably post the question in the DBA forum. More people will pay attention to it there.

As for the particular error... It probably means that the indicated file isn't installed. You might need to find the fileset that libptools_ptr.a belongs to and install that package. Or you could be trying to install OpenEdge on an unsupported release of AIX (for instance, perhaps you are attempting to install OE10.1C sp01 on AIX 4.3). But since you haven't revealed the AIX version number and patch level nor the Progress version number and patch level that is largely a matter of conjecture.

AIX version 5.2 and progress/openedge version 10.0B.

is it necessary all the subsets of unix to be loaded to install openedge in this version?
If so, is it possible to share the subsets which needs to be installed?
