The next User Group meeting is announced below but first some important news from our August meeting.
At the August User Group meeting, new committee members were elected for the new year and they are:
President
Nigel Allen - Prosmart
Treasurer
Toby Harman - Morningstar
Web Site Administrator
Robert Langer - Consultant
Event Organiser
Warren Castles - Sterland Computing
General Committee Members
Greg Thomas - Sterland Computing
Ben Askins - Sterland Computing
The committee announced in the notification of the August meeting and during the meeting that we were reviewing membership fees. It was agreed at the meeting that the fees hadn't changed for quite a few years and that the following fee structure was fare and reasonable. Renewals should be received in the coming week.
Personal Membership - $55 Per Year
Corporate Membership - $220 Per Year
For those who are unaware, corporate membership should be taken up by anyone intending to send more than one person to the meetings (up to 5).
October Meeting
Next Meeting: Tuesday 14th October
Where: The offices of Progress NSW (25 Ryde Road, Pymble - parking under building).
At the October Progress User Group Meeting, Des Bleakley Managing Director of Progress Australia will be attending to address the Users Group and field any questions regarding the current status and direction of Progress Australia. The committee have prepared some questions for Des to respond to at the conclusion of is address after which a general question time will commence.
Thanks again to Progress who will provide drinks & Pizza.
