No-undo explanation

Hi all,

Whenever we do modification in the progress objects like variable, temp-table the previous value will be stored in before Image file .bi. To avoid this we are using no-undo. So this will increase the performance of a program.

Can we retrieve the value of a particular variable value ? if yes, please explain me.
