moving from V8.3a to V9.1D, problem GUI layout

Hi,

We are moving from V8.3a to V9.1D, but we have some problems with the GUI layout.
In the V8.3a the field are lined up and buttons are at the end of the entry fields.
In V9.1D, running the same program, the layout isn't the same, the fields are jumping around, the buttons are placed in the middle of the entry fields ....

Anyone having the same problem or having a solution for it.

We use the same fonts,... as in V8.3a in the progress.ini file
 
We had a problem when we moved from 8.1 to 9.1. We had to use the "screen scaling utility" supplied with Pro*Tools.

This shouldn't be an issue with you as you are going from 8.3a, but it might be worth a look.

Yeah - we used screen scaling and then did the rest by hand. We have had a few problems moving from WinNT/2k to XP as some of the widgets don't come out exactly the same size - this appears to be due to slight differences in one of the underlying fonts I think.
