MFG/Pro ver 8 to eb2 conversion

Hi...

I need to convert a version 8 db to eb2.
I'm not sure what the best tact to take is in this adventure.
Can anyone give me some help?
How you knew the steps?
Are there any point-by-point conversion tutorials or places I can learn?

I am sorry but this point needs saying. Why on earth are you attempting to do this conversion yourself? Surely any PROFFESIONAL would know not to attempt this without the required skills. You obviously need a Progress(TM) DBA or somebody with Progress(TM) DBA skills. 'Live' and important data is not a way to learn these skills only cause headaches.
 
I whole-heartedly agree.
But the charge was to see if we could do it ourselves.
Believe me there will be MUCH discussion on this before we jump.
