Login Problem

Hi

i have installed Progress 9.1C on an HPUX Server (useing OE 11i V2)

Now i set up a database server and created new databases. After i checked the Log files (no errors) and then i started the db without any errors. But if iam trying to login (./symix -m) and typed in username: symix and left pw empty a window pops up with an error: Only data collection is available from this terminal.

I tried different terminals etc. (btw iam root)

if i try ./symix then this error pops up: Parameter files does not connect database with type symix.

Iam new at Progress and SyteLine so iam thankful for help.

What version of Syteline are you using? It will make a difference on the default user and pass depending on the version you have!
