IDE for Progress

Hi friends,

I had an idea that Eclispe can be used as an IDE for OpenEdge. Prorefactor seems to be the required plug-in.

I have no idea where to get Prorefactor as the link from where I was to supposed to download the plug-in is not working.

http://prorefactor.oehive.org/update/

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Prorefactor does work with Eclipse and you will find detailed instructions at OE Hive. That is also the right place to ask questions if you have trouble with it.

However, ProRefactor is just a small piece of the puzzle. For starters, ProRefactor requires Proparse.

But, even if you have ProParse, ProLint, and ProRefactor, you are just started. PSC themselves has a product called OpenEdge Architect which is the general purpose IDE for ABL. These other pieces are contributing tools, but the PSC product is the main foundation for developing in current versions of Progress.
