You can also set the group (which is not assigned to any Location/Department/Function) as a default value for user records. This removes the manual process of assigning the group during user creation. Please follow the steps below in assigning the default group: 1. Go to 'Users' object definition. 2. Click 'Groups' lookup field. 3. Click 'Edit' button. 4. Select the Default Value for this lookup field. 5. Click 'Save' button.
