Well., theoretically, that should be covered by providing the synchronizing object as documented here: msdn.microsoft.com/.../system.timers.timer.synchronizingobject(v=vs.110).aspx Customer claims they do that, as I noted earlier. "In the scenario they descibe, they have a .NET System.Timers.Timer object, in a self-built wrapper that functions as the synchronising object. (Note: they didn't provide further details on how this wrapper was built yet)." I'm starting to understand better what they are trying to do (not that it makes any more sense) - they do expect the AppServer agents to respond to the events even if the agent is not running any request at that time. I'm not sure if we're processing events if the agent is otherwise idle ?
