I have to update a record with the actual "Username" - within the smart-viewer (not the sdo). I do this within the updateRecord-procedure - but the only way to to this is to put the username field into the viewer and make it "hidden". Within updateRecord I assign the necessary screen-value to the logged on user. But is this the only way to modify the "client-side" (screen-buffer) from within the viewer - when I display the available(rowobject) - status I only get "not available"!
The other way is, to to the user-logging handling within the sdo - but is this the right way?
