I use SyteLine 6, Any one know what kind of Editor for modification file *.r

You want to modify a .r file? That's compiled source. I don't think you want to edit that. If you don't like the .r, change the code and compile it

But anyway if you do you better use a hex editor.

change your .p or .w and save & compile it. it will make a new .r file

I suppose this is your first time you ever looked at progress ABL?
I think it is best to start reading up first.
