DB analyzing software application

I am looking for a software named "crystal" or somthing like that, which ables deep analyzing the DB by using querys and reports.

If you know of a similare application it could be good 2.

There is an ODBC driver from Merant that you can use to pair Crystal Reports with a Progress DB once the system DSN is setup. The same connection allows you to use the msquery tool to bring data into any app that supports ODBC datasources (ie excel etc). The Merant product is Datadirect Connect ODBC.
