how can we do data replication?

we've read the programming handbook, but we still cannot fully grasp the process. can you supply more specific instructions in the implementation of this procedure.

We're using Progress v9.1... What were trying to do is to replicate the content of one database to other database containing the same tables. We want to have one application for updating the master database and it will automatically replicate the modifications/updates to the other database for back-up. Is possible? We're still trying the schema trigger base of replication and we dont know how to work it out. Can you give us a step by step procedure on how to do it?
