Can anybody share or tell me the control characters for the fuji xerox apeosport-iv c3370 to be configured in eB2. If you can tell where I can get the codes is also helpfull.
then we replaced this printer recently with Xerox FX APeosPort-Iv C3370. But the above control sets are not working for this printer some body please help !
The problem is that its getting prnted..but the characters are all squashed up....
It seems your previous printer was PCL 5e which uses ESC-control codes to control printer; PCL 6 / XL is quite different. If your printer does not have PCL 5e / ESC/P emulation then AFAIK the easiest way to print on such printer is to print via printer driver (using printer spooler or CUPS filters or other printing system depending on your operating system) or using converter which converts control escape codes (like PCL 5e, Epson ESC/P) into PCL 6. You can also consider using Postscript.
Hi Larry.. thanks for the valuable info.
But as a person who only have less experience with the printer setups.. I am not sure how I can get the control characters from the given links and make it in a sequence.... like below HP codes :
80 Column Start: /027E/027&I2A/027&I66P/027&I0O/027(8U/027(s0p10h12
v0s0b3T/027&6E/027&17.8689C/027&I66F/027&k2G
132 Column Start: /027E/027&I2A/027&I66P/027&I0O/027(0O/027&I66F/027
(s0p16.66h8.5v0s0b0T/027&12E/027&17.8689C/027&k2G
Reset Ctrl: /027E
1. Although there are valuable inputs, i think this issue needs to be posted in the Mfg/Pro forum
2. Can you send the screen-shot of the the output and the printer setup screen also?

Looks like something is not right in the setup. If you see the first line it is printing some control characters. Not sure where it's coming from.
Is the printer setup screen-shot for this Xerox printer?
Most likely it's a font issue.
Also, lets try this:
Output the sales order print to a file.
Go to command line on the server where the file is created.
use the command lp -d melfs1 -s -T postscript <filename>
also, use the command lp -d melfs1 -s <filename>
Check both the outputs and see if the font is correct or is it still jumbled up.
As always, attach the screen-shots for others to get a good understanding of the issue.
