We're in the process of upgrading our MRP system from one version of Epicor Vantage to the latest. Epicor uses Progress as the database. We have a two node cluster that we use for applications requiring high availability. As far as I'm concerned, the MRP system is an application that needs high availability but it's not currently installed on the cluster. The reason for this is that the VAR who installed it indicated that he did not think that Progress would run on a MS W2K3 cluster. I'd like to take advantage of the high availability that the cluster provides and also the faster hardware. My question is, is is possible to cluster Progress 10 on a MS W2K3 cluster? Are there step by step instructions for doing so somewhere? The W2K3 cluster that we've got is running the 64 bit version of that OS. Is Progress OK in a 64 bit environment? Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.
