Adding Webspeed/Progress components

Hello,

I forgot to install the "ProControl" component and tried add later, but the "Add Components" warns there are running components. The AdminService was already shut down.

Two processes are still running:

evntlg.dll
proshell.dll

How I can kill them? I did not found neither in Services nor in task list/processes.

Are you *still* getting these warnings after a reboot? If you have disable all the pro services and rebooted you should be fine.

unfortunately I got them after reboot too. I found only one service to shut down "AdminService for Progress 9.1C". There are another services for WebSpeed?

Please help anyone, the uninstall also does not work. I tried uninstall and reinstall (followed the steps in manual page 5-25) but the uninstall failed with "Unable to remove file", "Unable to remove directory" and finally "Uninstall failed" messages.

Now I have a non-functioning WebSpeed installed and I cannot uninstall/reinstall.

I must say at this point that the Progress Install/Uninstall and Patch routines are really unprofessional pieces of software, and release after release they still keep appearing
