OpenEdge Developers Corner webinars are hands-on tutorials covering various products and features of OpenEdge. Each session is led by an OpenEdge developer and explores a particular "how to" question in detail. The presentations have a running time of about a half-hour followed by a question and answer session for attendees. Links to the recordings of previous presentations are given below. The earliest sessions focus on OpenEdge Architect but beginning in 2009 other products are featured as well. Archived Presentations Solving Application Problems with Structured Error Handling (November 13, 2009) Sarah Marshall, QA Architect for OpenEdge, presents the fundamentals of structured error handling through a mock trouble-shooting exercise. Performance Tips and Tricks with ABL (May 12, 2009) Peter Judge reviews techniques and considerations when designing and writing your ABL application for performance. Working with Workspaces and Projects Sunil Belgoankar discusses options you have in OpenEdge Architect with projects and workspaces to organize your applications and development teams. Leveraging 3rd party Plug-ins Learn how to add functionality to OpenEdge Architect with third party plug-ins. Many types of plug-ins are available from SCM tools to editors to code generators.
