What happen to Progress

Progress use to be one of my favorite vendors, but now they are like all the rest. Every since they acquired Brave Point, Progress has been a different company. Just like Oracle, sales sharks, lie to you, strong arm you, and put fear into you to buy their products. It is really sad.

So you're saying that the Bravepoint sales team is responsible for this unhappy state of affairs?

As far as what is now the Professional Services team (MDBA/Pro2) is concerned, I've only had good experiences with them.

I have little experience with the sales side of the former Bravepoint crew, but I haven't had that reaction. YMMV of course.

I guess it just one or two bad apples. My 28 year of experiences with Progress has been pretty good. However, for example, i had to pay 30,000 for a test Pro2.
