Weird SQL Buffer Error

Hello:

When running a SQL command, I received the following error:

1 Internal error 2 (A buffer other than the NLS system handle memory was not large enough) in SQL from subsystem NLS SERVICES function nlsAppendString called from nc_concat on . for . Save log for Progress technical support.

Does anyone have any idea what it means or how to solve it?

What query are you running? There are a couple of entries on this in the KB (http://progress.atgnow.com/esprogress/categoryBrowse.do)

For instance: P153561 or P130492.

Hi Casper:

I was planning on checking the version of the OpenEdge driver install I have on the client machine on tomorrow.

With regard to P130492, in this case, OpenEdge is running on Unix, and the KB ticket is related to WIN32, so I think I can rule that out; and

With regard to P153561, I am running a SELECT in this case, so I think I can rule that one out.

Any other suggestions?
