We have a WebClient Application that has -
The configuration file (prowcapc) on a file server - file://...
The component files (cab) retrieved by appserver - appserver://...
Using the above setup, everything works OK, but we have to distribute the prowcapc file to a series of file servers.
I have tried to change the configuration file to point to a webserver - http://...
When I try to run the application, the prowcini.exe starts running, the prowcapc file is dowloaded to my C:\temp directory and then ... nothing!
Is there something I am missing? Why does the prowcini.exe not start the prowc.exe?
If I click the prowcapc file on the webserver it works, but not from the desktop icon.
