VSS Backup Support

We would like to see VSS backup support for the openedge database. Customers who use tools like VMWare or other third party backup solutions use VSS integration on SQL , Exchange, and Oracle to do automated backups. This can be accomplished by using the PROQUIET utility and manual scripting but the solution is more cumbersome to use than having an option that is "standardized" like VSS. reference to articles saying it isn't currently supported. http://knowledgebase.progress.com/articles/Article/000039034 http://knowledgebase.progress.com/articles/Article/P11011
