Unix Statement

When I run the UNIX statement from within the Procedure Editor it brings me out to the unix prompt but there is just a cursor flashing.

On another system when I run the command I get $$.

Is there a setting that I have to set to get the $$?

I seem to remember that this is an environment variable set somewhere like PS1=`hostname date>` or something like that. I can't remember which one off the top of my head - sorry.
