Unable to run dictionary in Progress 7

I am unable to launch Progress Data Dictionary for 2 customers using Progress 7. I am using the -rx -p _dict.p line in my batch file. The progress window shows up but the "press spacebar to continue" message never disappears from the bottom of the window. I must end task to close the window.
