The parameter is incorrect

Hi All,

We have recently installed OpenEdge 10.2A on a Windows 2003 Server and we are running IE8.

When we run our web application we are getting the error message 'The parameter is incorrect' displayed on the page and we can't go any further.

Does anyone have any ideas on what would be causing this?

You must provide us with more information in order for us to help you.
Anything in the log files: server.log, broker.log?
Is the aplication not working at all? Or have you an error with a specific page?

Hi Casper,

Sorry, we sometimes get as far as displaying the log in page and the error appears when we try to log in and other times we get it before the log in page is displayed.

The following is in the broker log.

When we get as far as the log in page we get a few warning messages in the server log file regarding an executable line in our library procedures not being reached due to a return statement.
