TDE and Sql

We have recently added TDE to our live system and all seemed to go well but now every time we try and connect to our TDE enabled replication database, we get the following in the database log file :- Key store validation error -200: (keystore) keystore lock file open failure {02021f0e} , this happens any time a connection is attempted, ie Creating a new ODBC connection and testing the connection, connecting via sqlexp or SAP Crystal Reports. It doesn't seem to prevent us getting the data required, but just messes the log file up.

Is this the replication source or target?

Do you use manual keystore authentication or automatic?

We have 2 replication targets for our SQL users and the error occurs on both and we are using manual keystore authentication
