Hi there,
Using Progress V9.D we have encountered the following error message in regards to a specific user. I have picked a couple of lines from the log file:
13:19:44 SRV 73: SYSTEM ERROR: ixfil called during resyncing (1062)
13:19:44 SRV 73: Previous message sent on behalf of user 361. (5512)
13:19:44 SRV 73: Registry error 5: Could not create the 'PROGRESS' key for the Event Viewer. (5175)
Having looked at the knowledge base it appears that this is not a serious error for the database and is more linked to an application design flaw and possibly increasing the -L parameter. In the occasion that occured the user was logged out successfully.
Could this have done any damage to the database? Are there any steps that we can take to avoid this? When the user was logged out would they have lost any unsaved transactions?
Could anybody give me a further clue about this error? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks and regards,
