Syntax-Highlighting for Character Strings

Hi folks,

I searched on the internet and also in this forum here, but I didn't find a solution for my problem.
Since a few weeks, my syntax-highlighting does not work anymore, look at the screenshot:

So you can see that keywords are hightlighted as usual and in AppBuilder -> Options -> Editing options... -> Color Coding -> Colors Strings are marked with a color:

I also changed the -cpinternal to 1252 in my .pf, as I found somewhere as possible solution but it does not work.

Has anybody an idea how to solve this?

I'm working with OpenEdge Release 10.1C.

You say they stopped working a few weeks ago. What changed when they stopped working?
 
Did you try reinstalling Progress, that would be the fasted way to rule things out. (Kinda like CTRL-alt-del :-))

Reinstalling fixed it, even it was not my favorite workaround. But I wonder what the problem was.
