Enhancement request for the PostgreSQL ODBC driver from Progress to provide support for EnterpriseDB. Progress KB article number: 000004345 states: "The PostgreSQL Wire Protocol driver does not support any PostgreSQL database that has EnterpriseDB in the version string." and that an enhancement has been raised as "Enhancement PSC00053166". A Progress OEM customer has requested support for EnterpriseDB in order to support multiple customers who have implemented EnterpriseDB, and need connectivity via our ODBC driver to this DB from the OEM customer’s application. No alternatives or workarounds exist for this requirement.
