SQL Server 2000 linked server to Progress 8.2b ODBC connectivity problem

I am trying to connect to Progress 8.2b from within SQL Server 2000 using linked servers.

I have installed the Progress Client and Merant 3.7 on the SQL 2000 database server and the test connection runs without a hitch.

How do I set up the linked server? I have tried using the ODBC option but just get errors.

Has anyone made this work?
