The first time I saw the soundex.p procedure was when I started with Progress on V6 - some years ago, at that moment I thought "who would need this anyway?" ... well as life has some weird turns (specially in the software development business) I need it for a German customer, and of course ... for German language. I know what the program does, it's quite simple, but not a clue about German phonetics ... and therefore program conversion is impossible
By chance, has someone done this ?
