Server not reachable or possible RPC error

Hi,

We are running a redhat enterprise rel 3 cluster with progress 9.1E and our
ODBC s/w is the Datadirect 4.10 32-bit PROGRESS SQL92 9.1E.

When I try to link tables I get the following error.
server not reachable or possible RPC error. But it works for a single table query. Progress was installed with both the sql and 4gl settings.

Any ideas??

No - its a bug - we are using progress 9.1E patch 1 and its still a problem. Whats odd is that its not on all table joins just some of them.

Is there any way that I can find out which join that cause the problem?

I think so. It was just trial and error in our case to find the ones that are the problem there are a lot of odbc queries in the business that are now redundant, we can run the queries in progress 4GL though.
