SequeLink 4.5

I am using SequeLink 4.5 to connect Microsoft Access to our Progress 8.3B database. If I run a query in Microsoft Access and then kill it, the process is still running on the server. I can not stop this process from the task manager. If I stop the SequeLink Server when this process is still running in the Windows NT task manager, it causes the whole Progress db to stop. Does anybody know why this is happening?
