I am currently searching for a Senior Programmer Analyst with experience
programming in Progress 4GL and QAD MFG/Pro. Maxxim Medical has outsourced
their recruiting to my company, Choice Consulting Group.

Maxxim Medical is a global company that develops, manufactures and sells a
diversified range of specialty medical products for operating rooms, surgery
centers, cardiac catheterization labs and interventional radiology centers.
Maxxim Medical's US headquarters are currently located in Clearwater,
Florida. Maxxim has thirteen locations throughout the United States. Maxxim
Medical Europe is headquartered in the Netherlands and operates two
manufacturing facilities there and one in Belgium.
This is a permanent position located in Clearwater, Florida. Relocation
assistance is available.
Job Description:
* Design code, test and implement custom programs for QAD and
non-QAD applications utilizing Progress 4GL/RDMS.
* Database Administration for Progress databases in a D.G./EMC
UNIX environment.
* Analyze, troubleshoot and correct programming issues
involving manufacturing, distribution, finance systems.
* Assist EDI staff as required with inbound/outbound data
requirements and program interfaces to support VMI customers.
* Develop and document processes and procedures to support
various functional applications as required.
* Assist in maintaining and developing functionality for
applications in PowerBuilder on a Sybase Database.
Minimum Requirements:
* BS/BA degree in CS or Business or equivalent level of
experience.
* Minimum 3 years programming experience-developing
applications with Progress 6 or higher.
* Minimum 2 years experience with UNIX (preferably
D.G./EMC/UX).
* Experience with QAD MFG/PRO software in a manufacturing and
distribution environment.
* Experience with PowerBuilder in a Sybase database
environment preferred.
* Excellent analytical and communications skills required.
