hi to everyone,
i am using prostrct create utility to create the database for my practise purpose.i want to know
what is DBblock and OS block and its difference?
while creating .st file,i want to give the extentsize...what is extents?
how i want to specify the extent size means in MB,KB or bytes?is their any size i can specify as default?
what is records per blocks and blocks per cluster?
what is area name and area number?
can u give me an example of structure file and its explanation?
If we are in project....how we will define the extent sizes and all, means based on requirement or by assumption?
