SENIOR PROGRAMMER ANALYST QAD/Progress/Unix
Laird Technologies, a leader in the EMI/RFI Shielding and precision
metal stamping industry, seeks a QAD Certified Programmer with 5-7
years experience to analyze, develop, design, test and implement
application systems in all areas of the corporation. Specific duties
include preparing test data to verify accuracy of programming and logic
design of application systems, investigating and resolving failures and
inadequacies, proposing enhancements and maintaining & administering
performance of relational database systems.
Qualified candidates will possess strong Progress 4gl programming /
analysis and database administration skills, a solid understanding of
UNIX based systems (preferably Solaris), pc hardware & software
proficiency and advanced knowledge of networking, relational database
and programming techniques. In addition to exceptional technical skills,
you should have a solid track record estimating time and cost to complete
projects as well as the interpersonal and leadership skills needed to
guide others.
