Questions about complation against different revisions 9.1/a/d/e

Hi,

Just wondering if code i have compiled against a Progress 9.1d database will work against and identical Progress 9.1a database? I realise these are just revision changes but how far do they go, would they change the CRC?

Any help much appreciated

Back in the days that we supported 9.1A I think we even used a 9.0B database as compile database for compiling r-code that was executed by 9.1E clients.

If you want to be sure, simply compare _file._crc of both databases.
